HME is on the way to FDIC 2012

It’s time once again for the FDIC, beginning this April 16^th, 2012, at the Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis, Indiana. It’s a week filled with hands-on training, classroom sessions, and a chance to meet and see all of the top manufacturers and suppliers in the industry today. HME at Center of Firehouse World Exposition

This HME 34C CAL FIRE Initial Attack Truck is destined for duty in Riverside County after the conclusion of this year's 2012 Firehouse World Exposition in San Diego, California.

HME was quite literally at the center of the 2012 Firehouse World Exposition in San Diego, positioned in Booth #1537. With such a central location, at the hub of the San Diego Convention Center, action swirled around HME fire trucks during the five day show which concluded this February 23rd.

This year’s Firehouse World Exposition drew over 5,000 visitors – including firefighters, friends, family and spectators. In addition to the display of the latest in fire apparatus and equipment, the Firehouse World Exposition also offered a wide range of hands-on training exercises as well as seminars.

In addition to HME 34C fire trucks (pictured above), destined for CAL FIRE service with Riverside County and Anaheim fire departments, HME also featured its affordable SilverFox™ Custom Pumper, HME Type I Interface, and the versalite HME Type 6 MUV.

From his recent appearances at the Grammys, his Super Bowl halftime show and as host of NBC’s hit show The Voice, Cee Lo Green is one busy entertainer. But while he may be enjoying the spotlight of fame and working around the clock there’s another, very unexpected side to Cee Lo - a side of that took time to say “thanks” to those who have meant so much to him and his family in the past. Robert McGrath Returns to Duty as Fire Chief in Stratford, Connecticut

Only months after retiring from the Stamford Fire Department, in Stamford, Connecticut, Robert McGrath has returned to active duty as the Fire Chief of the Stratford Fire Department, in Stratford, Connecticut. After serving in the Stamford Fire Department for 41-years, and in the past 11-years in the capacity of Stamford Fire Chief, McGrath made the move only a few miles away to Stratford, Connecticut this past September.

Michigan Firemen’s Memorial Festival 2011: A Made-In-Michigan Success Story

The Michigan Firemen’s Memorial Festival has been celebrating the lives, bravery and dedication of Michigan Firefighters for 32 years. This year’s 2011 Festival drew thousands of visitors from across the country, and around the world, for its traditional memorial services, parades, demonstrations and exhibition of Made-In-Michigan fire apparatus at the Roscommon Fire Training Grounds, formerly the Roscommon Fairgrounds. The Michigan Firemen’s Memorial Festival is a place where firefighters, their families, friends and community can join together to remember and honor those who have made the ultimate sacrifice in the protection and safety of their fellow man.
